Air Swimmers Review
Air Swimmers eXtreme are remote control flying fish that your children will go crazy over. Animal Planet brings you a clown fish or a shark for your kids to guide through the air.
The Fish
The clown fish is brightly colored with orange, white and black stripes. The shark looks just like a shark. At 57 inches long and 36 inches high, these nylon-bodied balloons swim through the air. You can fill the balloons at a party store or florist which sells helium balloons or purchase party tank of helium to fill them at home. Balloons should be refilled after about two to three weeks. They will each require one AAA battery.

The Remote
An infrared remote will allow your children to control the fins and tail of the fish. Your child can make the fish climb and descend while moving the tail fin to control forward movement. The fish can turn left and right, 360 degrees. With a range of 40 feet, you and your children can get a good view of the fish as it swims through the air because you do not have to stand directly beneath it to operate. The controller requires three AAA batteries.
Play Time
Air Swimmers are an indoor toy because wind makes the balloon difficult to steer. You should turn your ceiling fans off while operating this toy for both safety and control. The long range lets your kids swim the fish from room to room. Both the clown fish and the shark are great fun for indoor family get-togethers and children’s parties.
Down Time
When storing your Air Swimmers, you can float them, dock them or store them. For easy access, float the balloon to the ceiling. You can dock the balloon in its controller for safekeeping. When you are ready to put it away for longer periods, release the helium by pressing a straw into the valve to release the helium. Gently fold it and replace it in the box for safety.
