The Car

At only five inches long, this little car is built for speed: up to 20 miles per hour. Your kids will have so much fun with this little speedster. The roll bar keeps the vehicle upright, so the fun does not stop when it wipes out on a jump. Four color choices let you pick the perfect one for your kid and their taste. Choose from metallic orange/white, metallic blue/silver, red/gold and blue/yellow. Hyper Actives come with two sets of tires: foam for indoor fun and rubber for outdoor stunt driving and racing.

The Remote

Your children will be able to control the car with a trigger-style remote that moves the car forward, reverse and speed with the trigger. Fully depress the trigger for fastest speed per setting. A switch controls the speed setting at slow, medium or fast. However your kids should not use the high speed indoors because Hyper Actives will travel at speeds up to 20 mph. Your kids can use the knob to steer the car straight forward, turn full right or full left.

24 Ghz frequency from the remote means your kids can race the Air Hog with up to nine other friends without interference from other remotes. No more worrying about choosing a channel when your kids race with others. Line ten cars up at the pole and get racing!

With up to a 100-foot range, your kids will not have to be directly on top of your car to use the remote. Great for longer races with their friends, the range allows your kids to stand back and enjoy the action.

The Batteries

The car is rechargeable, and the remote requires six AA batteries. The car comes with a charging jack which connects the remote to the car to charge. Initially, your kids will have to charge the car for 45 minutes to an hour. A full charge will produce around 20 minutes of play time, depending on speed. Running the car entirely at the highest speed will reduce the amount of play. Recharge takes about 30 minutes.

The Audience

Spinmaster recommends Air Hogs Hyper Actives for your children 12 years and older. Since it has small parts, it is not recommended for your child under the age of three. However, children older three, but younger 12, enjoy Air Hogs under the close supervision of adults. Hyper Actives are a big hit with the “and older” crowd.
